Short Biography
Tory Christie is a scientist by day, working as both a geologist and hydrologist. She also writes children’s books about science, technology, and nature. When it is light outside, she studies rocks and water and the natural environment. After dark, she writes science stories that kids and their adults. She is the author of the Big Blue Earth picture book series, the Curious McCarthy chapter book series, A Touch of Blue middle grade novel, and many non-fiction books. Tory Christie lives in Fargo, North Dakota.
